Alice M. Kaufman, 94, of
1505 Indiana Ave., Mendota,
died July 2, 2007, in Mendota
Community Hospital.
Services will be at 10:30
a.m. Thursday in Immanuel
Lutheran Church, Compton,
with the Rev. Paul Darveau
officiating. Burial will be in
the church cemetery.
Visitation will be one hour
prior to services Thursday in
the church. Arrangements are
provided by Merritt Funeral
Home.
Mrs. Kaufman was born
Nov. 10, 1912, in Mendota to
Charles and Lucetta (Foulk)
Schmitz. She married Alvin P.
Kaufman on Feb. 2, 1933. He
preceded her in death on Oct.
4, 1988.
She was a homemaker,
Sunday school teacher and
piano player. She was a member
of Immanuel Lutheran
Church of Compton.
She is survived by a daughter,
Donna (Arlo) Albers of
Mendota; four grandchildren;
10 great-grandchildren; and
nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband,
she was preceded in death by
one daughter, Norma Yenerich;
one brother and one sister.
