Obituary
Alta May Wixom, 83, of Mendota and formerly of Aurora died Sept. 26, 2012, in Heritage Health, Mendota.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota with the Rev. Larry Sheaves officiating. Burial will be at Restland Cemetery, Mendota.
There will be no visitation.
She was born May 22, 1929, in Mendota to Leonard R. and Matilda (Benedict) Wixom.
She attended Mendota schools and was employed by Campana Cosmetic Co. in Batavia for many years before her retirement.
She is survived by two sisters, Jean Stenson of Plainfield and Lois Wixom of Highwood; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and five sisters.Memorials may be directed to the donor's choice.
