Ana Maria Souza, 92, of Mendota passed away July 8, 2022 at OSF St. Paul Medical Center, Mendota.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, July 14, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Cross Church, Mendota with Father Peter Pilon officiating. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Mendota. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. at the Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota.

Ana Maria was born August 9, 1929 in León Guanajuato Mexico to Felipa and Apolonio (Torres) Saucedo. She married Arthur Souza. He preceded her in death in 1999.

She was a member of Holy Cross Church. She enjoyed crocheting and cooking.

She is survived by her children Jose (Eva) Rodriguez, Doroteo Rodriguez, Maria D. Rodriguez and Juan M. Rodriguez; her grandchildren Ricky Rodriguez, Anna Eutis, Jamie Rodriguez, Diana Nanez, Cesar Rodriguez, Luis Rodriguez, Juan Rodriguez, Jesus Rodriguez, Patricia Sherman, Victor Salinas, Jorge Rodriguez, Rodolfo Rodriguez, Danny Rodriguez, Valerie Rodriguez and Vanessa Rodriguez and numerous great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, grandsons Alonzo Rodriguez and Alberto Rodriguez and a great granddaughter Isabelle Rodriguez.
