Andrea C. Scott, 74, of West Brooklyn, passed away Saturday, August 29, 2026, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born January 11, 1952, in DeKalb, IL, the daughter of Stanley and Doris (Burnett) Stover. She married Edward Scott on December 5, 1986, in Ottawa.

Andrea was raised in Paw Paw. She worked numerous jobs throughout her lifetime. She worked in the kitchen at the Mendota Community Hospital, the West Brooklyn Post Office, and she and her husband, Ed, owned and operated Downtown Grill and Bar in West Brooklyn for 14 years. She loved anything crafting related, included crocheting, bead art, and steampunk. Andrea was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who would do anything for her family. To her grandkids and great-grandkids, she was lovingly referred to as Ammy

Andrea is survived by her husband, Ed; three children, Dawn Sheehan of West Brooklyn, Richard (Kim) Lampson of LaSalle, and Matthew Lampson of West Brooklyn; eight grandchildren, Morgan Bloom, Kendall (Justin) Boelk, Karrah (Jeff) Stuart, Gracie (Cullen) Schmitt, Gaige (Kaitlen) Lampson, Summer Lampson, Olivia Lampson, and Cameron Lampson; four great-grandchildren, Silas Stuart, and Kai, Mabel, and Juniper Boelk as well as one great-granddaughter on the way; her sister, Terri Nelson of Leland; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Andrea is preceded in death by several aunts and uncles.
