Anna Mae Phillips, 97 of LaMoille and Liberty Village, Princeton passed away November 22, 2019 at Perry Memorial Hospital, Princeton.
Funeral services will be Friday at 11:00 a.m. at the Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota with Rev. David Jungnickel officiating. Burial will be in Greenfield Cemetery, LaMoille. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral.
Anna was born March 20, 1922 in Ottawa to Frank and Theresa (Munpher) Christman. She married Michael Phillips on January 20, 1940 in Davenport, Iowa.
Anna worked at Masters Paint Store in Mendota and House of Garden Flower Shop in Princeton. She owned and operated The Doorstop in LaMoille for 25 years. She enjoyed going to auctions and collecting gray enamelware and many other antiques.
She is survived by her daughter Diane (Morry) Schlegel of LaMoille; five grandchildren Beth (Karl) Schultz, Jill (Brad) Snethen, Amy Schlegel, Doug (Jennifer) Phillips and Steve (Rae Lynn) Phillips; ten great grandchildren Seth Schultz, Justine Schultz, Luke Schultz, Karlie Schultz, Brady Snethen, Adrienne Snethen, Jake Phillips, Megan Phillips, Austin Phillips and Tyson Phillips and daughter in law Margo Phillips of LaMoille.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her son William Phillips, a sister Rose Wilson and three brothers Frank Christman, Joe Christman and Nick Christman.
