Obituary

Anne M. Corcoran, 75, of West Brooklyn died Jan. 3, 2017, in OSF St. Paul Medical Center, Mendota.

A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in St. Mary's Church, West Brooklyn with the Rev. Randy Fronek officiating. Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery, West Brooklyn. Visitation will be 9 a.m. until time of services Saturday at the church. Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Anne was born Nov. 21, 1941, in Sublette to Clarence and Ethel (Logue) Vickrey. She married Justin Corcoran on July 22, 1959, in St. Mary's Church. She was a member of St. Mary's Church and was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society.

She is survived by her husband, Justin of West Brooklyn; five sons, Timothy Corcoran of Madison, Wis., Gregory (JoAnn) Corcoran of Pick City, N.D., Jerome (Tina) Corcoran of Amboy, John (Lisa) Corcoran of Sublette and Jeffrey (Tracy) Corcoran of Belvidere; 32 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Ellen (Jerry) Donahue of Mendota and Marilyn Ackerman of Oglesby; one brother, David Vickrey of Mendota; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Stephen; and a granddaughter, Zoey.
