Rebecca "Becky" Marie (Dye) Kenny, 67, of Mendota, passed away at home, on her farmhouse, on October 27, 2022.

A private graveside service for immediate family will be conducted on Friday, November 4, 2022 at Wisner Cemetery with Rev. Mary Bohall officiating. Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota is assisting the family.

Becky was born in Princeton on January 31, 1955, the daughter of Ed and Marie (Dahlin) Dye of Princeton.

Becky was the mother of three, Tracy McLaughlin, Charles McLaughlin and Danielle McLaughlin. Becky is survived by her husband Russell Kenny of Mendota, her daughter Tracy (McLaughlin) Jenkins and step sons Danny Kenny, Shaun Kenny and Derrick Kenny. She has 8 grandchildren, Charles Jenkins, Noah Jenkins, Madison Smith, Hanna Miller, Skyler Kenny, Tyler Kenny, Devon Kenny and Kaiden Kenny. She is also survived by her three brothers, Daniel Cartwright, Rick Dapauw and Lee Depauw.

Becky was the proud and well respected owner of The Hub Tavern in Mendota for over 20 years. She was well known throughout the community for her hard work, her dedication to helping those in need and her compassion for animals. Spending time with her family was the most important part of her life. She will be greatly missed by her family and many in the community.
