Bernice O. Eich, 100, of Mendota died Dec. 16, 2017 in the Mendota Lutheran Home.

Funeral services will be 11 am on Wednesday in the Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota with Rev. Janet Lepp officiating. Burial will be in Lutheran Cemetery, Mendota. Visitation will be one hour prior to services on Wednesday in the funeral home.

Bernice was born May 12, 1917 in Clarion Twp. to Guy and Bessie (Maloy) Etheridge. She married Rudolph Eich on Feb. 9, 1937 and he preceded on Aug. 13, 1995.

She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Mendota. She helped her husband with their family farm. She  was a member of TOPS. She loved music and enjoyed dancing with her husband at the Mendota Elks Lodge.

She is survived by one son, Jerry (Sandra) Eich of Mendota; 4 grandchildren James (Nikki) Eich, Steven (Veronica) Eich, Melody (Jerry) Gott and David (Stephanie) Eich; 6 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren and one sister Leota Joerger of Mendota.

She was preceded by her husband, a grandson, Brian, one brother and two sisters.
