Obituary
Betty Jan Cherry, 78 of LaMoille passed away August 25, 2019 in her home surrounded by family.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Cross Church, Mendota with Father Peter Pilon officiating. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Mendota. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. at the Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota.
Betty was born March 10, 1941 in Mendota, only child, to Harry and Jane (Bower) Burkart. She married Charles Cherry on December 21, 1968 in LaMoille.
Betty was a 1959 graduate of Mendota High School. She worked on the farm with her husband for many years. She was a school bus driver and drove a truck for many years on a floral route and ran a pharmaceutical route for a few years.
She is survived by her husband Charles of LaMoille; son Chad Cherry of LaMoille; two daughters Niki Norquist of Chicago and Sonya (Chad) Rosenow of Mineral; six grandchildren Taylor Rosenow, Austin Norquist, Alana Cherry, Casen Cherry, Carter Cherry, and Ella Cherry.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
