Obituary
Betty J. Due, 91, of Mendota went home to the Lord on May 20, 2014 at the Mendota Lutheran Home.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Burial was private. There was no visitation.
Betty was born March 23, 1923 in Oak Park to Thornton and Alice (Bendinger) Yancey. She married Jack Due. He preceded her in death in 2005.
Survivors include one son, John (Linda) Due of Mendota; one daughter, Debi (John) Batchelor of Manhattan, Il.; four grandchildren, John (Katie) Batchelor, C.J. (Jenny) Batchelor, Thor (Aimee) Batchelor and Janine Batchelor; and four great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband and one grandson, Burt Batchelor in 2012.
Betty was a member of First Presbyterian Church and the Mendota Women's Club. She loved playing golf and bridge, sewing and knitting sweaters for family and friends.
