Wyanet died June 4, 2007, in
Mendota Community
Hospital.
Services will be at 11 a.m.
Friday in Merritt Funeral
Home with the Rev. Ken
Wilson officiating. Burial will
be at Restland Cemetery.
Visitation is 5-8 p.m.
Thursday in the funeral home.
Mrs. Purvis was born Oct.
19, 1926, in Mendota to John
and Lora (Williams)
Schweiger. She married
Clarence Purvis on June 20,
1944, in Shabbona.
She was a member of
Seekers Bible Club, Dorcas
Missionary Society, Golden
Agers Group of the Princeton
Bible Church and Community
Methodist Church, LaMoille,
where she served on various
church committees.
She is survived by one
daughter, Colleen (Dennis)
Hagemann of Mendota; one
son, Kenneth (Barbi) Purvis of
Mendota; 10 grandchildren; 18
great-grandchildren; three
great-great-grandchildren; and
nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death
by her husband on July 27,
2001; one son, Roger; and four
brothers.
