Beverly J. Martin, 77, of LaMoille died Feb. 27, 2012, in Liberty Village, Princeton. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in First Congregational Church, LaMoille with the Rev. Jamie Miller officiating. Burial will be at Greenfield Cemetery, LaMoille. Visitation is 5-7 p.m. Thursday at the church. Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota provided the arrangements. She was born Aug. 31, 1934, in Sheffield to Otis and Goldie (Tutro) Shofner. She married Walter M. Martin on Sept. 4, 1954, in LaMoille. She was a member of First Congregational Church, LaMoille. She is survived by two sons, Robert (Donna) Martin of Princeton and Walter E. (Cindy) Martin of Wyanet; four grandchildren; 10 greatgrandchildren; one brother, Neil (Janice) Shofner of Florida; and two sisters, Carol (Joe) Roberson of Kewanee and Rita (Bill) Wolfe of Princeton. She was preceded in death by her husband in July 1995, two sons in infancy, two brothers and two sisters. Memorials may be directed to First Congregational Church, LaMoille.
