Brenda Y. Robertson, 74, of Mendota, passed away June 26th at Heritage Health, Mendota. Funeral services will be held July 2nd at 11:00a.m., at McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett, MO. Burial will in Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Kennett, MO. Visitation will be held one hour prior to funeral services and June 30th from 5-7p.m., in the United Pentecostal Church, Mendota. Local arrangements were handled by Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota.
Brenda was born September 13, 1940 in Holland, MO. to Doyle and Myrtie (Brown) Burks. She married Kenneth Robertson September 21, 1959 in Kennett, MO.
She was an assembler at HCC for 30 years and a member of United Pentecostal Church.
Survivors include three daughters Regina Rushing of Whitewright, TX., Sheila Robertson of Ottawa, and Michelle (John) Yattoni of Bettendorf, IA.; two sons Brian (Laurie) Robertson of Lithia, FL., and Kevin Robertson of Mendota; nine grandchildren, two step grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and one step great grandchild; one brother Talmadge (Brenda) Burks of Potosi, MO.; five sisters Audrey (Robert) Davis of Kennett, MO., Maryann (George) Archer of Kennett, MO., Gayla (Gary) Bradshaw of Kennett, MO., Dana (Bill) Harbaugh of Columbia, Il. and Melba Stenger of Wentzville, MO.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband on May 3, 2014, brother Buddy Burks, and sister Geraldine Sherman.
