LaMoille died May 25,
2015, in OSF St. Paul Hospital,
Mendota.
Funeral services will be at
11 a.m. Friday in St. John's
Lutheran Church, Mendota
with the Rev. Timothy
Kenyon officiating. Burial
will be at St. Paul's Evangelical
Cemetery on Old
Chicago Road, rural LaMoille.
Visitation is 4-7 p.m.
Thursday in Merritt Funeral
Home, Mendota.
He was born March 4,
1959, in Mendota to Gerald
and Sandra (Leffelman)
Eich. He married Jean
Spriet on Dec. 4, 2002, in
Cripple Creek, Colo.
He was a graduate of
LaMoille High School with
the class of 1977. He was
employed by James W. Ambler
Trucking and currently
by Northern Partners Coop,
Mendota.
He was a member of St.
John's Lutheran Church,
serving as church council
president. He especially enjoyed
the great outdoors,
hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife,
Jean, of LaMoille; his parents,
Gerald and Sandra of
Mendota; paternal grandmother,
Bernice Eich of
Mendota; one sister,
Melody (Jerry) Gott of LaMoille;
three brothers, Steve
(Veronica) Eich of Surprise,
Ariz,, Jim (Nikki) Eich of
Manhattan, Ill., and David
(Stephanie) Eich of Peru;
nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles
and cousins.
He was preceded by his
maternal grandparents, Roy
and Bernice Leffelman and
paternal grandfather,
Rudolph Eich.
