Bruce Waldorf, 86, of Mendota died Dec. 2, 2011, south of Mendota as the result of an accident. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in St. John's Lutheran Church, Mendota with the Rev. Dale Peterson officiating. Burial will be at Restland Cemetery, Mendota. Visitation is one hour prior to services Wednesday in the church. Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota provided the arrangements. Mr. Waldorf was born June 14, 1925, in Mendota to Edward and Laura (Kutter) Waldorf. He farmed in Troy Grove Township his entire life. He graduated from Mendota High School in 1943 and was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and the Farm Bureau. He is survived by several cousins. Memorials may be directed to Mendota Lutheran Home.
