Carma Jean Robinson, 77, of 701 Meadowview Drive, Mendota died March 10, 2008, in Rockford Memorial Hospital. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday in Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota, with the Rev. Dale Peterson officiating. Burial will be at Restland Memorial Gardens, Mendota. Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home. She was born May 27, 1930, in Wyanet to Cecil and Mildred (Dunn) Catton. She married Frank Robinson on Sept. 6, 1947, in Mendota. She is survived by three sons, Carl (Conne) Robinson of Spring Valley, Charles (Terese) Robinson of Mendota and Frank Robinson Jr. of Oglesby; two daughters, Carol Robinson and Rebecca Robinson, both of La Salle; 26 grandchildren; 38 greatgrandchildren; one sister, Charlene Catton of Wyanet; and five brothers, Robert (Linda) Catton of Wyanet, Kenny (Linda) Catton of Wyanet, Bill (Bonnie) Catton of Arkansas, Darryl (Ruth) Catton of Ottawa and Frederick Catton of Missouri. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1984; two daughters, four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, two brothers, and one sister. Memorials may be directed to the family.
