Carol Jean Savage, 82, of
Mendota Lutheran Home died
Feb. 13, 2013, in the home.
Services will be at 11 a.m.
Saturday in First Congregational
Church, LaMoille. The Rev.
Rick Wulf will officiate. Burial
will be at Restland Cemetery,
Mendota.
Visitation will be from 10
a.m. until the time of services
Saturday in the church. Merritt
Funeral Home, Mendota, is handling
arrangements.
She was born July 9, 1930,
in Mendota to Lawrence and
Melinda (Mathesius) Cromwell.
She married James Savage on
Aug. 26, 1979.
She was a member of First
Congregational Church and
was a cook for Red Brick Café,
LaMoille.
Survivors are one daughter,
Susie (Michael) Dolan of
Amboy; three sons, Larry (Mary)
Cromwell of La Salle, Marvin
Cromwell of Greensboro, N.C.
and Robert (Lisa) Besix of
Clermont, Fla.; nine grandchildren;
17 great-grandchildren;
one brother, Robert (Ann)
Cromwell of LaMoille; and several
nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death
by her parents, two sisters, three
brothers and one grandson.

to Mendota Lutheran Home or
American Cancer Society.
