Christelle Frost, 102, formerly of Mendota died Nov.2, 2007, in La Salle HealthCare Center, where she had been a resident. Private family services will be at 1 p.m. Monday in Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota. The Rev. Maryann Meador will officiate. Burial will be at Restland Cemetery, Mendota. There will be no visitation. Mrs. Frost was born May 28, 1905, in Amboy to E. Jacob and Sadie (Phillips) Miller. She married George Frost Sr. on Nov. 9, 1922. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Mendota. Survivors include one son, George (Delores) Frost Jr. of Bloomington; two daughters, Darlene (Paul) Pardo of Geneseo and Cheryl (Mike) Daw of Mountain Home, Ark.; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband on Aug. 16, 2004; one son, Melvin George; two daughters, Helen Dial and Elayne Stokes; two sisters; and two brothers. Memorials may be directed to First United Methodist Church, Mendota.
