Clara Dissinger, 101, of Mendota, formerly of LaMoille, died Oct. 28, 2009, in Heritage Manor Nursing Home, Mendota. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Community United Methodist Church, LaMoille, with the Rev. Martha Caputo officiating. Cremation rites will follow the service. Visitation will be one hour prior to services Sunday in the church. Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota, provided the arrangements. She was born March 25, 1908, in Mendota to Looker and Nettie (Nelson) Carr. She married Thomas Reedy Dissinger on June 12, 1927. She was a member of Community United Methodist Church and lived in LaMoille until moving to Heritage Manor in 2003. She is survived by one daughter, Irma Judy of LaMoille; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one great-great-grandchild; and one daughter-in-law, Doris Dissinger of Granville. She was preceded in death by her husband in May 1979; one son, Robert; one grandson; one great-grandson; two brothers and two sisters. Memorials may be directed to the donor's choice.
