Clint H. Sondgeroth, 90, of Mendota died April 30, 2013,
in Mendota Community Hospital.
Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Holy
Cross Church, Mendota, with the Rev. Geoff Horton officiating.
Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Mendota.
Visitation will be 9-10:30 a.m. Friday in Merritt Funeral
Home, Mendota.
He was born March 5, 1923, in Mendota to Peter F. and
Mary (Barr) Sondgeroth. He married Helen Bieser on Sept.
21, 1944, in Holy Cross Church. He was engaged in farming
in the Mendota area during his lifetime.
He was a member of Holy Cross Church, Elks Lodge 1212,
Mendota Moose Lodge, Catholic Order of Foresters and the
Mendota Optimist Club.
He is survived by his wife, Helen of Mendota; three daughters,
Yvonne (Bill) Biers of Mendota, Deanna (Allen) Baker
of Algonquin and Lori Losey of Mendota; four grandchildren;
and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Gayle; brothers
Frank, Paul, Don and George; one sister, Berniece; and sonin-
law Dave Losey.
Memorials may be directed to the family for a memorial to
be established.
