Colleen Ann Pendarvis, 65, of Ohio, Ill. died April 20, 2016, in St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria.

Funeral services will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday in Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota, with the Rev. Michael Morrell officiating. Burial will take place in Van Orin Repose Cemetery, Van Orin.

Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services Monday in the funeral home.

Colleen was born Jan. 23, 1951, in Mendota to Alvin and Jean (Wallace) Meyer. She married Lyle D. "Pete" Pendarvis Jr. on July 8, 1972, in Mendota.

She was a 1969 graduate of Mendota High School. She was employed by First State Bank in the trust department from 1990 until retiring in 2011.

She was a member of Ohio United Methodist Church and taught Sunday School for a number of years. She also was secretary for the Ohio United Methodist Church Advisory Council.

She is survived by her husband, Lyle "Pete" of Ohio, Ill.; one son, Peter D. Pendarvis of Ohio, Ill.; three daughters, Hollie (Scott) Shoup of Rochester, Heather (Scott) McCord of Peoria and Kristin (Mike) Price of Decatur; four grandchildren, Ryan and Kara Shoup and Meyer and Grady McCord; two sisters; Bonnie (Dennis) Corrigan of East Peoria and Patricia (Paul) Truckenbrod of Mendota; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
