Lillian Corinne Weber, 93, of Sarasota, Fla., died Oct. 16, 2013, in her
home.
Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday
in St. Theresa Catholic Church, Earlville, with the Rev.
Fredi Gomez-Torres officiating. Burial will follow at St.
Theresa Cemetery, Earlville. There will be no visitation.
Arrangements were by Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota.
Corinne was born Jan. 18, 1920, in Earlville to Wade
and Daisy (Baird) Holliday. She married Clement "Clem"
Weber on April 27, 1943.
She lived a full life as a wife and mother in the rural
Triumph
and
Earlville
area
until moving to Florida in
1984.
Throughout her life she
was an active member in St.
Theresa Catholic Church,
where she participated in the
Altar and Rosary Society,
and in Incarnation Catholic
Church in Sarasota, Fla.
She also enjoyed a monthly
card club with close friends
for more than 40 years
while in Earlville.
She loved cooking, sewing,
embroidery projects
and numerous other crafts
as well as her daily crossword
puzzle. She was an
avid Chicago Cubs fan, but
of all the things she loved
the most, her children and
grandchildren were always
the pride and joy of her life.
She was a proud face in
the crowd at every school
event and the graduation of
every grandchild. She will
be greatly missed by her
family.
She leaves behind three
daughters, Lisa Weber and
Colleen Pearce, both of
Sarasota, and Diana (Gary)
Buckley of Cedar Point;
one son, David (Jacque)
Weber of Southlake,
Texas; six grandchildren,
Chris (Tricia) Weber,
Doug (Deana) Weber, Jill
Weber, Jennifer (Walter)
Searcey, Gina (George)
Welsh and Krista (Billy)
McGann; six great-grandchildren,
Carissa Weber,
Cole Roberts, Lane and
Landon Welsh and Lucas
and Lauren Searcey; two
sisters, Dorothy Mae Boltz
of Beloit, Wis., and Eloise
Tarr of Paw Paw; one brother,
Bill (Betty) Holliday of
West Plains, Mo.; and two
"grand-dogs," Callie and
Carly.
She was preceded in
death by her husband in
1998; one daughter, Barbara
Hargesheimer in 1997; one
son, Craig Weber in 1958;
a son-in-law, David Pearce
in 1999; and four brothers,
Don, Jim, Bob and Sonny
Holliday.
