Craig F. Becker, 73, of Savanna, passed away on June 19, 2022 at Mercy One Medical Center, Clinton, Iowa.

Memorial services will be Thursday, June 30, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. at the Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota with Father Jeff Windy officiating. Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Mendota. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Craig was born November 2, 1948 in Mendota to Roland and Edith (Smith) Becker. He married Tanna Brown.

Craig was a 1966 graduate of Mendota High School and served in the Army National Guard. He was a teacher and taught woodworking in high school before teaching Adult GED at the Dixon Correctional Center. He loved woodworking, bird watching and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his mother; two sons Brian (Christine) Becker of Bartlett and Matthew (Nicky) Becker of Dixon; daughter Lori Goken of Dixon; two brothers Stephen (Deborah) Becker of Peru and Kevin (Sherrie) Becker of Quincy and grandchildren David, Melissa, Brock, Everly, Brendan and Bradley.

He was preceded in death by his father, his wife in 2012 and a granddaughter Bailey.
