Obituary
Dale R. Peters, 86 of Mendota passed away February 3, 2020 at OSF St. Anthony's Medical Center, Rockford.
Graveside services will be Thursday at 1:00 p.m. at Peru City Cemetery Mausoleum with Rev. Tom Reddig officiating. Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota is handling arrangements.
Dale was born November 7, 1933 in Peru to Ralph and Rose (Pinter) Peters.
Dale was a self employed farmer his entire life. He served in the National Guard from 1955-1962.
He is survived by his sister Arlet Lunn of Pennsylvania; two nieces Judy Marlar and Lynn Kinney; nephew Barry Lunn and his good friend Celina Reyez.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Elaine Kutter.
Memorials may be directed to the Mendota Lutheran Home.
