Daniel B. Smith, 22, of
Mendota died May 15, 2014,
after being involved in a
vehicular accident.
Visitation will be 3-7 p.m.
Sunday in Merritt Funeral
Home, Mendota. There will
be no funeral services.
Burial will be at a late
date in Restland Cemetery,
Mendota.
He was born Aug. 8, 1991,
in Dixon to William and Anna
Holman Smith.
He was a graduate of
Mendota High School and
was employed by Arteaga
Lawn Service in Mendota.
He is survived by his
mother, Anna of La Salle; his
father, William of Mendota;
his maternal grandmother,
Evelyn Holman of Marion;
and his paternal grandparents,
Tony and Maryann Smith of
La Salle.
He was preceded by
his maternal grandfather,
Lawrence Holman.
Memorials may be directed
to the family for a memorial
to be established.
