Daniel A. Vargas, 44, of Mendota, passed away unexpectedly on Monday May 6, 2024 at OSF St. Paul Medical Center, Mendota.

A private visitation for Daniel will be held for family and friends. Cremation rites will follow.

Danny was born August 25, 1979 in Oak Park, IL to Anibal and Sharon (Kemnitz) Vargas.

Danny attended the Lincoln's Challenge Academy in Rantoul. He worked construction doing roofing then siding and windows. Danny enjoyed helping people from fixing a car to moving and anything else he could.

Danny will be missed by his children Serina, Sophia and Elijah and his brother Ricardo of Mendota.

He was preceded in death by his mother and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
