Danny Dwain Duncan, 63, of Mendota died Aug. 15, 2016, in OSF St. Anthony's Hospital, Rockford.

Private graveside services will be at Bethel Cemetery, Kevil, Ky.

Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Thursday in Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota.

Danny was born July 9, 1953, in Calvert City, Ky., to James E. and Carlene S. (Sayers) Duncan. He married Rosey C. Rasnick on July 14, 1979, in Aurora.

He was employed at HCC in Mendota as a machine operator for many years and was involved in the metal industry during his working career. He owned and operated DDD Enterprises where he did woodworking and made crafts.

He is survived by his wife, Rosey of Mendota; two daughters, Caroline M. (Robert) Logan of Indiana and Sabrina R. Dancy of La Salle; son, James N. (Julie) Duncan of La Salle; five grandchildren, Michael A., Dante D., and Alexyss R. Dancy, all of La Salle and Aubry M. and Lucian C. Logan, both of Indiana; two sisters, Betty (David) Dudley of Spring Valley and Anna Marie (Dan) Pavy of Peru; one brother, Gene Bryant; and his second mother, Mary L. Duncan of Kevil.

He was preceded in death by his father, James E. Duncan; his mother, Carlene S. Hull; and two brothers, John Bryant and Richard Bryant.
