Darla June Lindenmier, 51,
of Peru and formerly of
Compton died July 8, 2014,
in St. Francis Medical Center,
Peoria.
Services will be at 10:30
a.m. Monday in St. Mary's
Church, West Brooklyn with
the Rev. Randy Fronek officiating.
Burial will be at
St. Mary's Cemetery, West
Brooklyn.
Visitation is one hour
prior to services Monday in
the church. Merritt Funeral
Home, Mendota provided
arrangements.
She was born May 25,
1963, in Rochelle to Doug and
Sandra (Rogde) Pettenger.
She graduated from
Mendota High School in 1981
and received an associate
degree in photography from
Milwaukee Area Technical
College. She owned and operated
Dar's Photography for
20 years.
She was a member of St.
Mary's Church.
She is survived by two
daughters, Nicki Lindenmier
of Compton and Cally
Lindenmier of Normal;
one brother, Neal Pettenger
of Dixon; one sister, Paula
(Marty) King of Compton;
her father, Doug Pettenger
of West Brooklyn; maternal grandmother Vivian Mullins of Ashton, Il; and nieces and
nephews.
She was preceded in death
by her mother in 2008.
