Darlene Beetz, 83, a resident of Mendota Lutheran Home, died Sept. 10, 2007, in the home. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Merritt Funeral Home with the Rev. Gale Brandner officiating. Burial will be at Restland Cemetery. Visitation is one hour prior to services Thursday in the funeral home. Mrs. Beetz was born July 20, 1924, in Sublette to Noble and Goldie (Schrader) Stevens. She married Charles Beetz on Dec. 1, 1989. She is survived by one son, Steve (Carole) Dancey of Mendota; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one brother, Duane (Earlene) Stevens of Silver Springs, Fla. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1999 and an infant brother. Memorials may be directed to Mendota Lutheran Home.
