David W. Seward, 51, of Mendota died Oct. 30, 2016, at his place of business.

A memorial visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Friday in Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota.

David was born March 2, 1965, in Hamilton, Bermuda to James G. and Joyce (Walton) Seward. He was a 1983 graduate of Mendota High School and the owner of Seward's Auction Service, Mendota.

He is survived by one brother, James (Kristi) Seward of Libertyville; two sisters, Cindy (Bill) Zajic of Lansing, Mich., and Deborah (Koyla) Seward of Brussels, Belgium; his mother, Joyce (Joseph) Hulbirt of Blairsville, Ga.

He was preceded in death by his father.
