Obituary
Della M. Hamburg, 89, of Mendota, passed away April 19, 2021 in her home.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, April 23, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Cross Church, Mendota with Father Peter Pilon officiating. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Mendota. Visitation will be Thursday from 5-7 p.m. in the Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota. Masks are required and social distancing encouraged.
Della was born October 21, 1931 in Magnolia to Orval and Mildred (Wilkens) Brown. She married William "Bill" Hamburg April 27, 1957 in Holy Cross Church.
Della was a member of Holy Cross Church. She owned and operated Bill's Bike Shop in Mendota with her husband for 43 years. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her family was very important to her and she was always willing to do anything for them.
She is survived by her daughter Linda (Robert) Swanson of Mendota; her grandson Brandon (Ashley) Swanson of Peru and her great granddaughter Ellen Swanson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 2016 and several brothers and sisters.
Memorials may be directed to Holy Cross Church or Holy Cross School.
