Obituary
DiAnn J. Matson, 70, of Ottawa, passed away July 1, 2022 at Heritage Health, Mendota.
DiAnn was born June 22, 1952 in Denver, CO. to Gilbert and Elvira (Hodek) Matson.
She worked as a paralegal for several years. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting and doing crossword puzzles.
She is survived by her son Jay (Melissa) Matson of Ottawa; two daughters Victoria Kitchen of Downers Grove and Kalla Mahar of Amboy and 6 grandchildren Daniel (Taylor) Kitchen, Austin Kitchen, Suzy Kitchen, Lillie Matson, Tyler Mahar and Dillon Mahar.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers Daniel and Ronald.
Cremation rites have been accorded and there will no services. Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota assisted the family.
Memorials may be directed to Illinois Valley Animal Rescue.
