Doloris McIntyre, 71, of Mendota died Jan. 8, 2009, in the home of her daughter in Mendota. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday in Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota. Deacon Vincent Slomian will officiate. There is no visitation scheduled, and cremation rites will be accorded. She was born Aug. 4, 1937, in Mendota to Cloyd and Leona (White) Gibson. She married Robert E. McIntyre on Jan. 18, 1958, in Clarendon Hills. Mrs. McIntyre was a member of Holy Cross Church and was employed 15 years by Fantasy Flavors in Amboy before retirement. Survivors are one son, Bret (Toni) McIntyre of West Sand Lake, N.Y.; three daughters, Elizabeth "Beth" (Thornton) Stallings of Mendota, Pam Glenn of Dixon and Connie Jo McIntyre of Mendota; 11 grandchildren; 15 greatgrandchildren; and one brother, Ralph Gibson of Colorado. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband on Oct. 12, 1995. Memorials to the donors choice.
