Donna M. Fischer, 56, of rural LaMoille died Dec. 29, 2009, in Barnes-Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, Mo. Services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday in Bache Memorial Chapel, Van Orin, with the Rev. Gene Vincent officiating. Burial will be at Van Orin Cemetery. Visitation is 1-4 p.m. Saturday in Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota. She was born April 20, 1953, in Binghamton, N.Y., to Hollie and Juanita (Dale) Lowe. She married David Fischer on Feb. 25, 1999, in La Vegas, Nev. She is survived by her husband, David of LaMoille; two daughters, Jennifer and Holly McNeil, both of Bettendorf, Iowa; one granddaughter, Brooklyn; two stepsons, Bradley (Amanda) and Greg Fischer, both of LaMoille; four stepgrandchildren; one brother, Richard Lowe of New York; and three sisters, Barbara (Dale) Pogar of Bettendorf, Joyce Kinsela of St. Charles, Mo., and Elmeda (Keith) Easton of Bettendorf. She was preceded in death by her parents. Memorials may be directed to LaMoille Lions Club or the family.
