Donna J. Hinkston, 63, of LaSalle passed away peacefully and unexpectedly in her home on Wednesday, October 5, 2022.

Donna was born in Chicago to William and Marilyn (Dagley) Pitt on September 25, 1959. She married Michael Hinkston on June 18, 1990 in Sycamore.

Donna graduated from Larkin High School in Elgin. She enjoyed being a stay at home wife. She donated to missions efforts overseas and was very avid in her faith.

She is survived by her husband; her sister Ada (David) Rhoades, sisters and brothers in law; nieces and nephews and her mother in law Dorothy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Richard Pitt and a sister Noreen Grosse.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 15, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at United Pentecostal Church, Mendota with Pastor James Duncan officiating. Private graveside services will be held at Johnson Grove Cemetery, Waterman at a later date. Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota is assisting the family.
