Doris V. Happ, 90, of Mendota, passed away Saturday, August 6, 2022.

Funeral services will be Thursday, August 11, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota with Rev. Larry Sheaves officiating. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Mendota. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services.

Doris was born September 21, 1931 in Climax, Georgia to Alvin and Eunice (Harrell) Owens. She married Peter Happ. He preceded her in 1980.

Doris graduated high school in Georgia. She was a homemaker and enjoyed fishing and gambling.

She is survived by her son William Happ of Compton; her daughter Barb (Happ) Atwell of Phoenix; her brother Tony Page of Dublin, Georgia; her sister Pearl Maxwell of Bainbridge, Georgia; son in law Felix Ortiz; 7 grandchildren Michelle (Matt Eddy) McCaffity, Jerry Tribble, Jason Atwell, Christopher Atwell, Ashley (Randall) Denman, Kyle Happ and Brittany Happ; 13 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Janice (Happ) Ortiz, 3 brothers Cecil, Junior and Wilbert, daughter Patsy and great granddaughter Kayla Vickery.
