Doris M. Pope, 86, of
LaMoille died April 26, 2007,
in Mendota Community
Hospital.
Services will be at 11 a.m.
Monday in Community United
Methodist Church, LaMoille.
The Rev. Julie Bunt will officiate.
Burial will be at
Greenfield Cemetery.
There will be no visitation.
Lundquist-Merritt Funeral
Home, LaMoille is in charge
of arrangements.
Mrs. Pope was born Nov. 5,
1920, in Mendota to Louis and
Sarah (Whitacker) Moore. She
married Dayton pope on Oct.
17, 1942, in Oregon.
She was a member of
Community United Methodist
Church, LaMoille and a graduate
of Mendota High School.
Survivors include one son,
Jack Pope of Bloomington;
one daughter, Saralou
(William) Konczal of Buena
Vista, Colo.; three grandchildren;
one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death
by her husband in 2002; one
brother and two sisters.
