Doris R. Walzer, 81, of LaMoille died Sept. 19, 2007, in Mendota Community Hospital. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Sts. Peter and Paul Church, Peterstown, with the Rev. Fredi Gomez Torres officiating. Burial will be at Restland Cemetery, Mendota. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Friday in Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota. Mrs. Walzer was born March 2, 1926, in Mendota to Frank and Frances (Willard) Miller. She married Arthur Walzer on April 19, 1947, in St. Patrick?s Church, Arlington. She was a lifetime member of Town and Country Saddle Club, Tri-City Saddle Club and St. Patrick?s Altar & Rosary Society. She graduated from Mendota High School. She is survived by her husband, Arthur ?Bud? Walzer of LaMoille; two sons, Roger (Denise) Walzer of LaMoille and Ron (Mary Jane) Walzer of Gracemont, Okla.; one daughter, Sharon (Darrell) Full of LaMoille; seven grandchildren; nine greatgrandchildren; one brother, Howard (Doris) Miller of Mendota; one niece and one nephew. She was preceded in death by her parents. Memorials may be directed to LaMoille Ambulance or Arlington Volunteer Fire Department.
