Obituary
Dorothy E. Burkart, 92, of Mendota passed away September 13, 2019 at Heritage Health, Mendota.
Graveside services will be Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Compton with Rev. Jeff Schlesinger officiating.
Dorothy was born June 6, 1927 in Mendota to John and Amelia (Liebert) Schmidt. She married Vernon Burkart July 26, 1964.
Dorothy worked at HCC in Mendota. Her true passion was maintaining her lawn and beautiful flowers.
She is survived by her daughter Ann LeRette of Mendota and three grandsons Luke, Samuel and Joshua.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband in 2004, five brothers and one sister.
