Edgar Robert Browder, 80, of Mendota, IL, passed away Thursday Dec. 26, 2024 in the comfort of his own home.  Edgar was born Aug. 23, 1944 in Rochelle, IL the son of Edgar and Margaret (Mullins) Browder.  He was 1962 LaMoille High School graduate.  Edgar married Linda Bauer on April 10, 1965.  For over 35 years he farmed in the Paw Paw area.  He served on the Wyoming township board for 23 years as clerk and supervisor.  He also served on the West Brooklyn Co-Op board.

Edgar is survived by his wife of 59 years Linda: three children: Slade (Ginger) Browder of Waterman, IL, Patricia Hopkins of Wyanet, IL and Adam (Carrie) Browder of Earlville IL; nine grandchildren: Lindsay, Corbin, Katie, Matt, Taylor, Carrissa, Elizabeth, Ryan and Aaden; and seven great grandchildren; five siblings: Sue Delong, Mary Browder, Edna Moore, John Browder and Gary Browder.
Edgar was preceded in death by his parents; brother: Roger and one grandson Anthony.
