Edna C. Miller, 65, of Mendota died Oct. 3, 2011, in Mendota Lutheran Home. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in First United Methodist Church, Mendota, with the Rev. Michael Morrell officiating. Burial will be at Restland Cemetery, Mendota. Visitation is 5-7 p.m. Thursday in the church. Arrangements were provided by Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota. She was born March 3, 1946, in Mendota to Lawrence and Mary (Merkel) Smith. She married James L. Miller on Nov. 24, 1982, in Mendota. She was a member of Women of the Moose and American Legion Auxiliary. She was employed by Harper- Wyman in Princeton for 37 years. She also worked at Dollar General and at Mendota Mobile Home Park office of Chicago Investment Corp. She is survived by her husband, Jim of Mendota; one daughter, Carolyn (James H.) Gehant of Mendota; one stepson, James (Patty) Miller of Elgin, Texas; one stepdaughter, Sandra Miller-Greenwald of Bloomington; two grandsons; three stepgrandchildren; her mother, Mary (Wilbur) Ferrell of Mendota; one brother John Robeson of Mendota; and one sister, Kay Quinlan of Princeton. She was preceded in death by her father and stepfather, Reginald Robeson. Memorials may be directed to American Cancer Society or the donor's choice.
