Elizabeth (Guilfoyle)
Crowley, 92, of Mendota
passed away peacefully on
June 6, 2014, in her home and
in the presence of her son and
caregiver, Brian.
Mass of Christian Burial
will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday
in Holy Cross Church, Mendota
with the Rev. Fredi Gomez-
Torres officiating. Burial will
be at Holy Cross Cemetery,
Mendota.
There will be no visitation.
Arrangements were provided
by Merritt Funeral Home,
Mendota.
She was born Sep. 21,
1921, in Mendota to Michael
Paul and Margaret (Phalen)
Guilfoyle. She married John P.
Crowley on May 30, 1945, in
Holy Cross Church.
She was a lifelong resident
of Mendota, a devoted wife and
mother and faithful member of
Holy Cross Church.
She is survived by two
sons, Stephan (Deborah)
Crowley of Bull Valley and
Brian Crowley of Mendota;
two daughters, Patricia (Mitch)
Burk of Magnolia, Texas, and
Diane Ulman of DeKalb; 10
grandchildren; and seven greatgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death
by her husband on Nov. 5,
1996; one daughter, Joan Rod;
and six brothers and six sisters.

to Illinois Valley Hospice.
