Eugene (Gene) C. McLaughlin, 71, of Mendota passed away December 9, 2019 at his residence.

There will be no services.

Eugene was born August 27, 1948 in Peru to Eugene A. and Isabel (Facer) McLaughlin.

He was a 1966 graduate of Mendota High School and served in the United States Army. He was employed at HCC in Mendota for several years.

He is survived by his wife Janet McLaughlin of Mendota; six stepsons; ten step grandchildren; 8 step great grandchildren; one daughter; two brothers and four sisters and two grandsons.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one grandchild.
