Everett L. White, 76, of Sublette
died Sept. 29, 2015, in
Rockford Memorial Hospital.
There will be no services.
Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota
provided the arrangements.
Everett was born Jan. 9,
1939, in Woodson to Everett C.
and Ruth (Whitaker) White.
He married Martha Forristall
on Dec. 19, 1958, in Sparta, Tenn.
He started working as a
farmhand in his early years.
He worked for Conco Inc.,
Marathon Electric and
Motor Wheel Corp., where
he was a plant supervisor.
He served in the U.S.
Army. He was past governor
and member of Mendota
Moose Lodge. He was a
member of several bowling
leagues at Bowl Air Lanes, Mendota.
He is survived by one
daughter, Maurece Bruder
of Sublette; four sons, Don
(Lauri) White of Joliet,
David (Judy) White of
Boston, Mass., William
(Julie) White of West Brooklyn
and James (Sheila)
White of Broken Arrow,
Okla.; eight grandchildren;
two great-grandchildren;
one brother, George (Kathy)
White of Ocala, Ill.; and
two sisters, Jane (Jerry)
Manning and Ruby Christman,
both of Mendota.
He was preceded in death
by his wife in 2013, and a
sister, Delores Rockwood.
