Obituary
Frances Kay Ambler, 78 of Mendota passed away February 28, 2020 at Franklin Grove Living and Rehabilitation.
Per her wishes there will be no services. Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota is handling arrangements.
Frances was born June 14, 1941 in Troy Grove to Frank and Fern (Edgcomb) Weygand.
Frances drove a school bus for the Mendota School District for 25 years. She enjoyed tending to her lawn and flowers.
She is survived by her husband James Ambler of Mendota; daughter Terri (Dan) Phalen of Monroe Center; two sons Todd Schultz of Covington, LA. and Ken (Pam) Schultz of Mohave Valley, AZ; two brothers William (Deb) Weygand of Earlville and John (Rose Marie) Weygand of Mendota; two sisters Patricia (Charles) Garrison of Yorkville and Jeanne (Doug Horn) Baron of Mendota; 11 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death her parents.
Memorial may be directed to Illinois Valley Animal Rescue.
