Frank E. Robinson, 52, of La Salle, formerly of Mendota, died July 24, 2008, in Rockford Memorial Hospital. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota, with the Rev. Dale Peterson officiating. Burial will be at Restland Cemetery, Mendota. Visitation is 5-7 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home. Mr. Robinson was born Dec. 26, 1955, in Mendota to Frank and Carma (Catton) Robinson. He is survived by one daughter, Kelly Robinson of Oglesby; 10 grandchildren; two brothers, Carl (Conne) Robinson of Spring Valley and Charles (Terese) Robinson of Mendota; two sisters, Carol and Rebecca Robinson, both of La Salle; and two stepsons, Chris and Tim Danner, both of Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, two grandchildren; three nephews and one niece.
