Frank was born on April 27, 1933 in Mendota, Il.

He was preceded in death by his father Cashius, mother Hildagard, brother Daniel and wife Lois.

He is survived by his daughter Susan, son Michael, daughter-in law Joyce and grandson Robert.

Frank served in the United Sates Army and was stationed in France during the Korean War. Frank liked sports and was a fast pitch softball pitcher in local leagues and in the Army. He worked for over 30 years at Black Brothers in Mendota. Prior to that he had farmed and worked as a mechanic at the Oliver tractor dealership. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Mendota.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 8, 2022 in the Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota with Rev. Ken Gibson officiating. Burial will be in Restland Memorial Gardens, Mendota. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral.
