Gerald (Jerry) Hagemann, 52, of Edgerton, Wisconsin, formerly of Mendota, passed away on January 15, 2017 at St. Mary's Hospital in Janesville, Wisconsin.

Cremation rites were accorded. A memorial service will be held Saturday at 11:00a.m., in the Merritt Funeral Home in Mendota with Rev. Larry Sheaves officiating.

Jerry was born March 31, 1964 in Mendota to Dennis and Darlene (Seward) Hagemann.

He was a graduate of Mendota High School in 1982. He had previously worked at Del Monte and Illinois Security. He drove a truck for long time friend Ron Callison and owned and operated his own truck for a time. He was a past member of Mendota Moose Lodge and Odd Fellows. He enjoyed fishing, ham radio and spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by his father Dennis (Colleen) Hagemann of Edgerton, Wisconsin; his mother Darlene Hagemann of Middlesboro, Kentucky; two brothers Mark (Deb) Hagemann of Troy Grove and Steve (Ginger) Hagemann of Edgerton, Wisconsin; one sister Anita Ayers of Middlesboro, Kentucky; nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
