Gladys Vietz went to be with the Lord on December 16, 2023 at the age of 92.

Graveside services will be held Friday, December 22, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Dewey-Worsley Cemetery, Triumph with Father Jeff Windy officiating.

Gladys was born to Manuel and Delphina (Martinez) Jorge on March 22, 1931 in Ponce, Puerto Rico.

In her life, Gladys came to America with her first stop being New York City. There, she worked as a secretary. She then made her way to Chicago and ended up in Oglesby. There, she met her husband Willis Vietz, as he was a salesman selling her Amway products. They then married on December 14, 1974 and lived a long happy life together.

Gladys is survived by her husband of Mendota.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
