Harry K. Brunner, 76, of Mendota died Jan. 14, 2012, in Mendota Community Hospital. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota. The Rev. Michael Morrell will officiate. Burial will be at Restland Cemetery, Mendota. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home. Mr. Brunner was born Dec. 22, 1935, in Mendota to Karl R. and Estella (Liddick) Brunner. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, Mendota. He graduated in 1953 from Mendota HighSchool. He was employed for 10 years by Horizon Industries. Survivors are one sister, Janet (Clifford) Schmidt of Mendota; one brother, Gene (Mary Ann) Brunner of Mendota; one sister-in-law, Clara Brunner of Madison, Wis.; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one brother, Robert. Memorials may be directed to Horizon House or the donor's choice.
